I'm looking for a sublet near Cihangar for all of september. There will be 2 of us. Also, for august I have an apt. in Ortakoy so if anyone knows of any fabulous, reasonable eateries in the area, or anything that I need to see & do in that neighborhood, I would love to know. . .
Is there any health food stores nearby? Neighborhood hamams? Yoga studios? How's the music scene?

Tue, June 26, 2007 - 8:54 PMIf you don't want to stay in a hotel, I really recommend you check out www.istanbulsweethome.com/index.shtml
They fix up old houses all around Beyoglu and rent them to travelers. They're fully furnished and way better than a hotel. (and cheaper) The landlord is really cool and helpfull, too. We've been to Istanbul 6 times, and we will never stay in a hotel again.
Have a great trip! -
